Made it into the “Temple of Doom” today, to work on promo’s. Pictured is the promo shoot with Eric Bollinger, while Yoshi Tang circles him with an Arri Alexa on his Steadicam Rig. Cool!
Director of Photography: Jonathan Yi. Gaffer: Ray Richards.

Very cool time lapse by Diana Levine of the MTV/Jersey Shore shoot I was working on on Wednesday (9/22/2010).

Here’s Diana’s website with loads of other awesome photography.

Working on a HSN commercial with Serena Williams @ Industria Superstudio. The studio was pretty nice, save for the electrical layout (which is being redone in the coming months apparently) and the load-in.

Saw this picture at the Room Studio (which by the way is not suitable for video/film shoots). Underneath it it says “Schuhplattler” (wiki), which is the name of a traditional dance from Bavaria. The area of origin and the clothes they are wearing made me think of the Oktoberfest which in turn made me think of the fact that it starts tomorrow!
Here are some screen grabs from the shoot.

It’s not a good picture, but I’ve never seen this before. This electrical panel has a “neutral plate” in it which has holes to connect neutral wires to it. The holes are numbered, but placed seemingly randomly across the plate.

Constellation Commercial shoot, with Robert Mondavi Private Selections wine. I had a bottle of the white later on and although I’m by no means an expert, I wasn’t a fan. Just saying.
